Letter from the Seller

I grew up in this lovely suburban home in Kensington. I will miss the home where I spent my childhood and my early adult years. I can still remember waking up and getting ready to go to Kensington Parkwood Elementary School which was a 15-minute walk from home. I would be able to either cut through Rock Creek Park to get to school or stick to the nice cement sidewalks which were located all over the neighborhood. I will also remember when I got my driver’s license and first testing the highway routes on I-495 which were located so close to home. I will also remember my first time going on the metro which was so convenient to take when I had school projects I had to complete in D.C. I will remember those late night hang outs with friends on Rockville Pike because I was able to get there in 10 minutes. I will remember tanning by the pool by Cedar Brooke Pool because it was only 5 minutes away and I wanted to meet with all of my friends. My dog Minnie will also remember where to go for a swim in Rock Creek Park and if she really felt like going on a long walk taking me almost all the way to D.C through the various Rock Creek Park trails. I will remember all these things not only because these were my memories growing up and experiencing life, the location of growing up in that house in Kensington, and the convenience of where it was located.
