Show Your Ukrainian Support From The DC Metro Area

A Sample of Resources to Provide Relief for Ukrainian People, Including Efforts by International Organizations and Local Businesses.

As it’s been heavy on our hearts, we want to highlight ways you can provide support, including involvement by local businesses.

Washington, DC Women Band Together

More locally, many of the women at Dacha Beer Garden are from Ukraine. Together, they urge the DC community to ‘band together and help support Ukraine.’ Currently, this local favorite is raising money for several important organizations aiding civilians in Ukraine, including UNICEF. As of early March, they have raised over $3,000. Fundraising events continue to become available, so follow them on Facebook for the most up-to-date ways to donate.

Chefs For Change

On March 21st, Chefs Stopping AAPI Hate will host a 10-course dinner at Moon Rabbit in DC, featuring courses prepared by several local chefs, including Erik Bruner-Yang and Aaron Silverman. This dinner will raise money for World Central Kitchen, a non-profit organization feeding Ukrainian refugees in Poland. Tickets are limited. You can order here.
