Guess what. Buyers are out there in droves, as their purchasing power has increased due to incredibly low-interest rates. This is continuing the trend for a very active fall market. Showingtime just reported that buyer traffic jumped 607% compared to this time last year. Wow!
The downside? There are simply not enough homes for sale to meet the incredible demand. NAR (National Association of Realtors) recently announced that there were only 1.49 million units available for sale, which is down a whopping 18.6% from one year ago. For buyers, that means they need to work with an experienced agent to navigate the competitive buyer landscape to get a winning offer. For sellers, that means the time is now!
